PhD
The NUS Real Estate PhD programme trains scholars in broad real estate related fields, including urban and real estate economics, real estate finance and investment, and urban planning and policies. Participants can undertake real estate research that has significant contributions to the advancement and understanding of real estate markets, efficiency and knowledge. Our courses also prepare them for an academic career to teach and research in a leading university or higher institution of learning in the Asia-Pacific.
The PhD programme was a spectacular experience for me. It provided me with a valuable opportunity to study exciting research topics from the academically distinguished faculties while also encouraged many academic trips around the world. This PhD journey has broadened my vision and enlarged my understanding of various topics in urban economics and real estate. I am also grateful for the academic guidance and enthusiastic encouragement from my supervisors, who have become my lifetime mentors to guide me throughout my career. The administration team was always very attentive, proactive, and efficient. I also met wonderful peers and sustained long-lasting friendships. I cannot thank enough the professors, staff members, and students I met during my time at NUS.
