NUS Real Estate offers many bond-free scholarships and bursaries:

SCHOLARSHIPS

Other than the NUS-level scholarships, the Department of Real Estate also offers many scholarships to outstanding individuals who wishes to pursue the BSc (Real Estate) programme and to outstanding current undergraduates who are pursuing the BSc (Real Estate) programme. The following scholarships which are mostly bond-free are available to eligible and outstanding students who are Singapore citizens.

Scholarships for NUS Real Estate Undergraduates (Freshman)

Please note that the above scholarships for freshman are by invitation only. Eligible students will be invited for an interview after submitting the online application for NUS admission and NUS Scholarships application.

Scholarships for NUS Real Estate Undergraduates (Mid-term)

The following mid-term Scholarship is available for current Real Estate undergraduate students. The Department will contact you via email if you are shortlisted for interview.

Undergraduate students who are interested will have to submit their application here, from 17 January to 31 July, to be considered for Scholarship in the next Academic Year. If you have additional information (i.e. Testimonial(s), CCAs – Internal or External, etc) to provide, please upload as supporting documents together with your application form.

In addition to the above mid-term scholarships offered by the Department of Real Estate, there are many mid-term scholarships offered by the following government agencies and statutory boards that are open to BSc (Real Estate) students as well. These scholarships usually require a bond period. Most of these are also listed on the Bright Sparks portal.

BURSARIES

The following bursaries are available to current Real Estate undergraduate students who are in financial need, subject to terms and conditions.

Undergraduate students who are interested will have to submit their application via the NUS Office of Admission Financial Aid, unless otherwise specified. More details can be found here.

Eligibility
  • Financially needy whose family have experienced unexpected changes financially, for example, a recent bereavement or medical illness within the family such that the breadwinner is no longer able to support the family.
  • Applicants with lower Household Per Capita Income (PCI) will be given priority.

  • No bond is required under the terms of this bursary

The bursary is open throughout the year. Application must be done using the prescribed form with full supporting documents and submitted to Mr Vincent at the Department of Real Estate.
