NUS Business School
For more than six decades, NUS Business School has educated generations of leaders who have helped shape Singapore, Asia and the wider world. From our beginnings alongside Singapore’s early development, the School has grown into one of Asia’s leading business schools, distinguished by outstanding professors, influential research and one of the region’s most established alumni communities.
The strength of a business school begins with the quality of its faculty. Our professors are accomplished scholars and committed educators who combine deep disciplinary expertise, international perspectives and a strong understanding of Asia. They publish in leading academic journals, advise companies and public agencies, and bring the insights from their research and engagement directly into the classroom.
The impact of this work is amplified through a rich ecosystem of research institutes and centres. These include major platforms in sustainable finance, real estate and urban studies, risk, operations and business analytics, governance and sustainability, investor protection, entrepreneurship, and other areas of importance to business and society. Through these platforms, our faculty work across disciplines and with industry and government to address consequential challenges—from AI and supply-chain resilience to financial stability, sustainability, governance and the future of cities.
Our students benefit directly from this intellectual environment. Across our undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and executive programmes, they learn from professors who are actively creating knowledge and solving important problems. Their education is enriched by Singapore’s position as a global business hub and by opportunities to engage with multinational companies, entrepreneurial ventures, public institutions and communities across Asia.
Another defining strength is our alumni network. As Singapore’s longest-established university business school, we have educated generations of graduates who have built enterprises, led institutions and served society. Today, more than 50,000 alumni form a powerful network across industries and countries. They mentor students, create professional opportunities, share their experience, support research and education, and remain deeply connected to the School.
The achievements of NUS Business School belong to our entire community—our faculty, students, staff, alumni, donors and partners. Together, they have built a School recognised for academic excellence, influential research, close connections to practice and a distinctive ability to understand Asia in a global context.
I invite you to discover NUS Business School and become part of a community that has made—and continues to make—a meaningful difference.
