Mentorship Programme
The 9-month mentorship programme was launched in 2023, is a collaborative effort between the Department of Real Estate (DRE) and the Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (IREUS) in NUS. The initiative aims to connect experienced professionals with real estate students who are eager to learn and grow in their academic and career journeys.
The objectives of the programme are:
- Provide a platform for students and industry professionals to meet, learn and connect.
- Provide guidance towards a clearer understanding of career paths and options.
- Promote a vibrant real estate community through active engagements.
- Promote a “give-back” culture.
By participating in this programme, students will gain a clearer understanding of various career paths and options available for real estate major graduates. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to interact and build meaningful connections with industry professionals and alumni who are eager to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with the next generation of real estate professionals.
This valuable interaction will provide students with insights into the real estate industry, helping them to make informed decisions about their academic and career pursuits. Furthermore, the connections made through this programme can lead to internship opportunities, professional growth, and a strong network within the real estate community.
