Department Staff Bonding 2024
On 15 – 17 Nov 2024, the Department held their first overseas staff bonding trip in Phuket. The staff brought along the family members and everyone bonded over the short weekend.
On Saturday, the faculty and staff engaged in a meeting by the seaside to discuss about the new curriculum, the challenges which they are facing and how they can work together to solve it.
While the adults are busy working, the kids also have fun.
Before the group went back to Singapore to continue working, they have lunch at their local restaurant.
Department Retreat 2022
On 23 Sept ’22, the Department of Real Estate held an in-person retreat for faculty and staff at Mandarin Oriental Singapore. The retreat opens with Real Estate Head of Department, Professor Sumit Agarwal presenting National Day Award 2021 Award medal to Prof Yu Shi Ming. The day continued with team lunch and followed by an hour-long art art jamming session where faculty and staff are divided into four groups to create beautiful paintings/drawings. After a short break and group photo, the day continues with breakout session and presentation where faculty and staff engage in a group discussion on how they can work together in facing challenges within the departments.
