The biennial Trans-Atlantic Doctoral Conference (TADC) 2025 was held on June 5-6 at the London Business School (LBS) campus. Since 2001, TADC has been hosted by LBS PhD students, serving as a unique platform for doctoral students only across seven major subject areas from accounting to strategy. The objective of TADC is to provide a great opportunity to meet fellow students, discuss their current research, help prepare PhD students for a career in top business schools, and encourage the development of scholarly network.
I presented my paper titled “Financially Constrained Procurement“, in the Finance track.. Over two days, we had 6 sessions, covering a wide range of topics from household finance to government financing. Within each session, we have three student presenters, and each student also serves as the discussant for another paper in the same session.
The audience was quite engaged throughout, asking questions and sharing their thoughts.
Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’m really grateful I have the opportunity to attend, present, and talk with great fellow students.
