Knowledge Partner for Key Awards
CGS is a knowledge partner in awards and competitions, developing the assessment matrix and judging rubrics. We hope to influence, inspire and lead individuals and companies to greater standards of corporate sustainability and governance.
Inaugurated in 2023 and jointly organised by The Business Times and United Overseas Bank (UOB), the Sustainability Impact Awards aim to recognise individuals and corporates in Singapore that demonstrate leadership in sustainability.
A collaboration with the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) (SIAS) since 2016, the SIAS Investors’ Choice Awards recognises companies and individuals who excelled in adopting the best ESG and corporate governance practices.
Award categories include the Singapore Corporate Governance Award, Singapore Corporate Sustainability Award, Diversity Award, Most Transparent Company Award, and the Shareholder Communications Excellence Award.
Launched in 2005 as the umbrella awards for exemplary corporate governance practices for listed companies in Singapore, the Singapore Corporate Awards seeks to consolidate existing awards while introducing new awards in the area of excellent corporate governance.
Specifically, CGS is the knowledge partner and assessor for the Best Investor Relations Award.
A joint education initiative with NKH Building Services to train NUS students in corporate governance and sustainability.
NUS students who have carried out research work in corporate governance and/or corporate sustainability participate in a climate change programme alongside industry executives.
The competition aims to promote the sustainability ecosystem among varsity students by getting them to work on real-life challenges and solutions.
