Official Launch of WEGA and Report Findings

Mr Chavalit Frederick Tsao (left), Chairman, TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) and Prof Lawrence Loh, Director, Centre for Governance and Sustainability at NUS Business School and Executive Director, WEGA, marked the official launch of WEGA on 18 September 2025.
The Well-being and EESG Alliance (WEGA)—where EESG stands for Economics, Environmental, Social, and Governance—was officially launched on 18 September 2025 at Impact Week 2025.
WEGA is a partnership between TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) and the Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) at NUS Business School. It began in 2024 with an MOU and has since advanced a shared agenda integrating sustainability and consciousness.
The launch marked a milestone in the collaboration, including research and dialogues to translate well-being principles into action.
Report launch: An Asian Approach to the Well-Being of Nations
WEGA, CGS and TPC jointly unveiled a research report “An Asian Approach to the Well-Being of Nations – Integrating Sustainability and Consciousness” at Impact Week 2025. Held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Impact Week is a well-being economic conference and festival co-organised by TPC and No.17 Foundation, respectively helmed by chairpersons Mr Chavalit Frederick Tsao and Ms Tai Sook Yee.

What the report presents:
- A well-being framework comprising well-being goals, the consciousness of caring for all, holistic change, and sustainability (EESG).
- Comparative case studies of China and Singapore demonstrating public-sector leadership.
- A matrix of indicators for evaluating national well-being.
