CGS Director on NUS Honour Roll for Teaching

Heartiest congratulations to Prof Lawrence Loh, Director of the NUS Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) at NUS Business School, for being placed on the university’s Honour Roll (2025–2029) for teaching!

This coveted recognition is presented to NUS educators who have won University Teaching Awards three times in previous years. Prof Loh has received the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) from 2022 – 2024, a commendable feat indeed.

His teaching adopts an impact framework along three dimensions, connecting the curriculum to student queries, current affairs and reality.

Quoting one of his students: “Prof Loh’s sessions are well–structured, intellectually stimulating, and enriched by his leadership experience at the Centre for Governance and Sustainability. His calm demeanor, thoughtful engagement, and commitment to student learning make him truly stand out as an educator.”
