It was a rigorous discussion on advancing well-being research when the Advisory Board members of the Well-being and EESG Alliance (WEGA) gathered on 25 July.

A partnership between NUS Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) and TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), WEGA aims to promote well-being economies through research, education and dialogues focused on Asia and beyond. Its Advisory Board comprised established leaders whose diverse expertise and passion for sustainability will guide WEGA on its journey:

We were honoured by the participation of Mr Chavalit Frederick Tsao, Chairman, TPC, whose vision inspired the establishment of WEGA. His perspectives on Asian philosophies and knowledge, along with the possibilities presented by cross-sector partnerships, offer valuable insights for fostering innovative approaches across diverse fields.

We were also glad to have the presence of Mr Loh Niap Juan, Group Chief Corporate Officer of TPC.

In all, the meeting covered an overview of WEGA’s progress, the relationships between well-being and culture, future direction and ways to scale up impact. From the individual level to the organisational and national levels, the impact of well-being economies can be harnessed through knowledge and collaborations.

Stay tuned as we share more updates on our journey to shape a more sustainable and inclusive future.
