Visit by National Maritime Museum of China and DG (Tianjin) Education Technology

Oceans are vast and blue sustainability is as important as green sustainability.

With an outreach mission, delegates from the National Maritime Museum of China and DG (Tianjin) Education Technology visited the NUS Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) at NUS Business School on 13 November 2024.

CGS’ Director Professor Lawrence Loh, Senior Fellow and Advisory Board Member Professor Patrick Loh, Senior Manager (Research and Communications) Ms Ang Hui Min and Assistant Manager Mr Ivan Lim welcomed the delegates.

The National Maritime Museum of China’s Deputy Head of Finance Mr Liu Yufeng and Head of Travel and Study Ms Zhang Wenyi introduced the museum. Located in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, the museum is China’s first national maritime museum, with rich experience in organising programmes that promote maritime knowledge and sustainability. They were joined by DG (Tianjin) Education Technology’s Co-Chairman Mr William Ang and Head of Business Development Mr Wang Qi.

It was a great sharing session across transnational boundaries as we discussed our organisations’ efforts in promoting sustainability and explored potential grounds for collaboration.
