Our modules are structured to train PhD candidates in practical applications and research on microeconomic theory, organizational economics and ecology, economic sociology, corporate strategy, inter national business, economic analytical tools and concepts, innovation and entrepreneurship research, and many more.
I was a PhD student at the Department of Strategy and Policy, NUS Business School, from 2016 to 2021. I immensely enjoyed the five years here. The PhD itself was a lonely and challenging journey, but the faculty members from the department were extremely generous in offering whatever support I needed. Besides, I got terrific opportunities to meet with leading scholars from universities worldwide as the department regularly organised high-quality research seminars. All in all, I truly cherish my days at NUS. The program trained me to be an independent scholar and helped me grow into a better person.
