BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Year-round outside-class activities are organised by the MSc Programmes Office, BIZCareers and Marketing Department for a fulfilling university experience.
CAREER SUPPORT WORKSHOPS
Workshops are organised throughout the year, including workshops on resume writing to help students create a compelling narrative of their unique values and strengths to nail their desired jobs. Students are also coached on pitching and storytelling to ace their interviews.
CAREER FAIRS
There are career fairs where students have opportunities to interact with recruiters and apply for full-time and internship positions.
INDUSTRY TALKS
Industry talks are organised School-wide from various offices. This includes talks and panel discussions from industry captains and alumni. Past talks cover digital marketing and entrepreneurship, as well as the role of big data in the industry.
NETWORKING AND SOCIAL EVENTS
Networking and social events allow students to interact and network within and outside their programme. Students are first introduced to the School and their peers in the programme through orientation and teambuilding activities. Professional enrichment activities such as skill seminars supplement students’ academic activities and help students gain relevant practical skills that can help in their professional careers. Other activities, such as MSc Wellness Week, Alumni Networking Sessions and End-of-Semester Celebrations are held during the programme and aim to provide students with a fulfilling and holistic experience.
NUS-ORGANISED ACTIVITIES
There is a wide range of clubs and groups offered by the NUS student body that allow students to pick up new skills and interact with a diverse population of students. Joseph Faddoul, an MSc (MAI) student, picked the University Lifeguard Corps to gain an additional qualification and to improve his fitness, but has tangentially learned teamwork, communication and the value of strong leadership skills. There is something for everyone in the wide offering of extracurriculars at NUS, and value to be found in every club.
STUDENT-ORGANISED ACTIVITIES
Besides these School-organised events, MSc (MAI) students also have their own social gatherings. After all, all work and no play makes the MAI student a dull one.

Don’t forget to visit Universal Studios Singapore. Halloween Night is fun. Go with your classmates and see who’s the bravest on the rollercoaster rides.
COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t stop us from exploring Singapore’s food paradise. Outdoors of course, masked up, small group, and safe distancing!
