SEE THO Soat Ching Susan

Associate Professor
ACCOUNTING

Susan is Associate Professor (Educator Track) with the NUS Business School. Her classroom teaching and practicum supervision broadly encompass areas related to business governance and risk management. As the Assistant Dean, Susan oversees the School’s undergraduate business administration degree. Outside the academia, she was an independent director of Singapore O&G Limited (currently de-listed and renamed to SOG Health Pte Ltd) from 2019 to 2022 where she functioned as a member of both the audit and nomination committees and chairman of the remuneration committee. Susan is also a member of the finance committee in National Kidney Foundation since 2016. Being Chartered Accountant (Singapore), Susan serves the professional body in different capacities. She was a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA)’s Membership, Growth & Engagement Committee from 2021 to 2023. She currently serves as a member of the Professional Education Council, an official panel of Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority’s (ACRA) that maintains oversight of the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ).

Prior to joining NUS in 2010, Susan spent 13 years in roles relating to tax compliance, business planning & analysis, business mergers and migration, as well as professional training & development. More about her qualifications and experiences can be found here.
