The State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in Asia is a joint initiative of CGS, formerly known as Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to produce an annual research publication on the topic over three years.

Professor Chang Sea-Jin and Mr Andrew Harding, Managing Director of CIMA, inked the Memorandum of Understanding on 14 March 2013. Witnessed by Dr Marleen Dieleman and Ms Irene Teng, CIMA’s Regional Director of South East Asia and Australasia, the MOU marked the beginning of the 3-year partnership.
