The NUS Business School community came together in strong support of a meaningful cause at the Bizad Charity Run (BCR) 2026, the School’s annual flagship fundraising event jointly organised by the NUS Business School Alumni Association (NUSBSA) and the NUS Bizad Club. Held on 17 January 2026, the 16th edition of the run attracted over 1,500 participants, marking the largest turnout in recent years and transforming the NUS campus into a vibrant celebration of community, fitness and giving.

Participants, comprising students, alumni, staff, families and members of the public, took part in 5km and 10km race categories, which were flagged off by Guest of Honour Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies. The event raised over S$90,000, with 100% of proceeds directed towards three beneficiaries: the NUSBSA Bursary Fund, the NUSBSA Student Experience Fund, and Youth Guidance Outreach Services (YGOS), extending the School’s impact beyond campus and into the wider community.

Since its inception in 2011, the Bizad Charity Run has grown into a cornerstone initiative that reflects NUS Business School’s commitment to social responsibility and student-driven action. Over the past 16 years, the event has engaged more than 14,500 participants and raised over S$3.3 million to support financially disadvantaged students and community initiatives.
Beyond the race itself, the event also highlighted the tangible impact of community support. Participants had the opportunity to see YGOS’ Mobile Outreach Support Team (MOST) van, which helps engage and support youth-at-risk by providing a safe space where they can interact with volunteers and access social services.

The success of BCR 2026 reflects the collective efforts of alumni leaders, student organisers and the wider NUS Business School community. With strong support from donors, partners and volunteers, the Bizad Charity Run continues to inspire participants to run not only for fitness, but also for a greater purpose.
