Singapore, 14 August 2025 – The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School proudly celebrates its diamond jubilee today, alongside Singapore’s 60th year of independence and NUS’ 120th anniversary. Under the 60th anniversary theme “Shaping The Next,” the School is reinforcing its pivotal role in nurturing talents that have contributed to the development of Singapore, Asia and beyond.
Honouring the past, shaping the future
Since its founding in 1965 with an initial cohort of just 21 students, NUS Business School has grown into one of the world’s most respected institutions for business education, with more than 6,000 students today across the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Over the past six decades, the School has played a pivotal role in cultivating generations of business and community leaders. These distinguished leaders are among the 50,000 alumni who have shaped economies, transformed industries, and contributed to public service across the world.
Distinguished Professor Rose shared, “Over the past 60 years, NUS Business School has played a central role in shaping business talent for Asia, reflecting our continued commitment to building executive capacity—leaders who can drive innovation, lead high-performing teams, and deliver impact to meet the demands of the region.”
