Julia Bodner

Assistant Professor, Copenhagen Business School

Julia is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. Her research looks at the role of resource reconfiguration in corporate strategy. She focuses on employee reconfiguration and redeployment—i.e., mobility within and across organizations to withdraw, add, and recombine employees’ skills, knowledge, and workforce. To empirically investigate these topics, she works with detailed quantitative data on employer-employee linkages. Julia is also curious about corporate strategy in the context of health care and conducts research related to alliances and acquisitions in the context of IVF clinics.

Before joining Copenhagen Business School, Julia received her Ph.D. in Management from INSEAD. She also obtained an M.A. in Strategy and International Management at the University of St. Gallen and a B.Sc. in Technology Management at the Technical University of Munich.
