The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light the need to accelerate digitalization of the government, which is one of the biggest issues in Japan as well as other countries.

Hiroki studied entrepreneurship in the NUS MBA programme and digital government strategies in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) from 2015 to 2017.

Finishing his program in Singapore, he applied his knowledge into providing digital services to businesses in the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry (METI). He is involved with founding a new agency for government digitization which will start this September 2021.

The talk will be on challenges, achievements, and visions for digital transformation of the government.
