The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School today honoured the achievements of 12 outstanding alumni at the prestigious NUS Business School Eminent Business Alumni Awards 2018.
Held biennially, the awards recognise alumni who have excelled in Singapore and beyond, and have made significant contributions to business and society. The awards were presented in three categories, namely Senior Alumni Award, Young Alumni Award and Alumni Service Award.
Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister-in-charge of the Smart Nation Initiative, presented the awards at a ceremony held this evening.

“Our recipients have made an impact beyond Singapore’s shores, contributed to the nation’s goal of becoming a Smart Nation, and generously donated their time to serve the community. They make us proud by continuing the legacy of what it means to be an NUS Business School graduate,” said Professor Bernard Yeung, Dean and Stephen Riady Distinguished Professor, NUS Business School.
Added Mr Peter Seah, Chairman of the Awards Committee and alumnus of NUS Business School (BBA Honours, 1968), “These awards recognise ordinary people whose success is a result of their passion and hard work. It is an honour to share an alma mater with these distinguished leaders.”
