EMBA programmes at NUS are Leading from Asia

Singapore, 1 March 2017 – The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School’s Executive Master of Business Administration (The NUS Executive MBA) programme is ranked number one in Asia Pacific by the inaugural Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global 100 EMBA Rankings by Region. The ranking features a total of 100 programmes, including 14 from the region.

The UCLA – NUS EMBA ranked 2nd in another new ranking, the QS Global Joint EMBA Rankings. This ranking features programmes jointly delivered by two or more business schools across multiple locations or platforms. Of the 20 programmes ranked, 10 are in partnership with an Asian school.

The rankings are based on data compiled from two QS surveys across five years: the QS Global Employer Survey and the QS Academic Survey. In addition, the rankings also focused on criteria such as:

  • Thought leadership research
  • Employability of EMBA candidates
  • Career outcomes of EMBA graduates (combining salary uplift after one year and the impact in terms of promotions)
  • The executive profile and experience of graduates
  • Diversity

“Our flagship NUS Executive MBA and the UCLA – NUS EMBA programmes are truly accelerating careers and opening opportunities,” said Professor Jochen Wirtz, Vice-Dean (Graduate Studies), NUS Business School. “These rankings validate our vision to lead from Asia and develop future-ready leaders.”

2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the NUS Executive MBA. More information on the QS Global 100 EMBA Rankings by Region and the QS Global Joint EMBA Rankings can be found at topmba.com.
