SINGAPORE (Oct 3, 2025) — The Hinrich Foundation, an Asia-based philanthropy dedicated to advancing mutually beneficial and sustainable global trade, has published the Hinrich Foundation Guide to Master’s in International Business and Trade for academic year 2025-2026. The Hinrich Foundation Guide sets out industry defined criteria for cross-border business knowledge, skills and attributes essential for graduate programs to prepare the next generation of global trade leaders.

This year’s edition debuts the Hinrich Foundation Guide Global Trade Leader Scholarship Program, with two scholarships available for National University of Singapore’s (NUS) MBA, one of the leading programs featured in the Hinrich Foundation Guide.

Through this Scholarship program, the Hinrich Foundation offers up to US$25,000 in tuition support per scholarship recipient when matched by up to US$25,000 from a corporate sponsor secured by the student.

This approach provides a unique opportunity for recipients who will benefit from a world-class education, engagement with employers and lifelong membership in the Hinrich Foundation Alumni Association’s international network of global trade leaders.

“We developed this Scholarship to meet two vital needs: first, to enable ambitious emerging leaders to access a top international business and trade education; and second, to strengthen the pipeline of talent for businesses engaged in global trade,” said Alex Boome, Hinrich Foundation Trade Education Program Director.

“The NUS MBA is recognized for its strong Asia focus and globally relevant curriculum,” Boome said. “With experiential learning at its core — from consulting projects to international exchanges — the program equips graduates with leadership skills, regional expertise and global exposure to advance their careers in international trade and business.”

Distinguished Professor Andrew Rose, Dean of NUS Business School, said: “The inclusion of the NUS MBA in the Hinrich Foundation Guide highlights its strength in combining rigorous academics with real-world learning. With consulting projects, case competitions and global exchanges, the program develops agile leaders who can navigate Asia’s dynamic markets while contributing to business worldwide.”

Applications are open to prospective students who demonstrate strong leadership potential, have a passion for a career in global trade, and secure a matching sponsorship commitment from a corporation. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the Hinrich Foundation Scholarship Committee. Final program admission decisions rest with the university.
