Allen Huang

Professor, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Prof Allen Huang is the Head of the Department of Accounting at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He is an ABFER Fellow, the Associate Director of the Center of Business and Social Analytics, Faculty Associate at the Institute for Emerging Market Studies, and the Li & Fung Supply Chain Institute. He currently serves as an Editor of JBFA, an Associate Editor of JFQA, and on the Editorial Boards of TAR, RAST and CAR. Prior to pursuing an academic career, Allen worked as a quantitative equity analyst in Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. Allen holds a PhD from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree from Peking University.
