Szu-Han (Joanna) Lin
W. Richard and Emily Acree Professor, Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia
Szu-Han (Joanna) Lin is the W. Richard and Emily Acree Professor and an associate professor of Management in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from Michigan State University. Her research interests include self-regulation, leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, gender, and personality. Her work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. Her research has also been cited in popular press outlets, including Forbes, Harvard Business Review, USA Today, and the Chicago Tribune. She currently serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Her dedication to excellence in research and education was recognized when she was named one of Poets & Quants’ Best 40 Under 40 MBA Professors for 2023 and received the 2025 Distinguished Early Career Award at Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
