Wanli Zhao

Dr. Wanli Zhao is a Professor of Accounting at the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Dr. Zhao earned his PhD in finance from the Temple University. His research focuses on governance-related topics and his publications appear in the leading academic journals in finance, accounting, and economics. His research awards include “Best Paper in Corporate Finance” at 2014 FMA and his research has appeared in media such as Bloomberg, BusinessWeek, Yahoo!Finance, and SEC.gov. He was awarded “Outstanding Researcher of the Year” by the CoB of SIU in 2015. Currently, he serves as the associate editor at Financial Management and Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.
