Professor, Stanford Graduate School of Business

Prof Ed deHaan is the MBA Class of 1963 Professor of Management Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research on financial reporting, corporate governance, and household accounting and finance is published in leading academic journals and frequently mentioned by journalists. Ed is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Accounting and Economics and is a former Associate Editor or review board member at Journal of Accounting Research, Management Science, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies. Ed has won multiple awards for teaching financial reporting and analysis, primarily at the graduate level. Prior to his current position, Ed was an associate professor at the University of Washington, earned his doctorate from the University of Washington in 2013, and worked in consulting and public accounting.
