Wu is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on initial public offerings, financial reporting quality, securities regulation, and auditing. She has published articles in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Management Science, and others. Her work has been featured in the business media and cited in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) final rules.
