Associate Professor, Jay Price Professor in Accounting, University of Wisconsin-Madison

Associate Professor Dan Lynch is the Jay Price Professor of Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he has been since earning his PhD from Michigan State University in 2014. Professor Lynch’s research interests are focused in the areas of taxation, the financial reporting of tax information, and the effects of tax policy and financial accounting standards on investment. He has published and served as a reviewer for articles in journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and the Journal of the American Taxation Association. Professor Lynch is also the current director of the PhD program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
