Holly Yang

Associate Professor of Accounting, Singapore Management University, School of Accountancy

Holly Yang is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting and the Co-Director of the School of Accountancy Research Center at Singapore Management University. Her research focuses on corporate reporting and disclosure issues, with the goal of disseminating her findings to a broader audience, including practitioners and regulators, to highlight the relevance of academic accounting research. Her work has been published in several top accounting and business journals and has been cited by the SEC, Wall Street Journal, and other media outlets. She earned her Ph.D. in accounting from Cornell University, following a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan and a B.B.A from National Taiwan University. She has taught at the University of Michigan, Cornell University, and the Wharton School, and currently teaches both Sustainability Accounting and Financial Reporting at Singapore Management University.
