Associate Professor of Accounting, Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Management
Josh Lee is an associate professor of accounting in the Marriott School of Business at BYU. Prior to joining BYU, he was an associate professor of accounting at the University of Georgia and also previously worked as an assistant professor of accounting at Florida State University. His research interests are centered around capital markets and voluntary disclosure with an emphasis on textual analysis and machine learning. His research has been accepted for publication at the Journal of Accounting & Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, and Review of Accounting Studies. His research has been cited or featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Financial Times, CFO.com, and IR Magazine. He completed his doctoral studies at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting at BYU.
