Assistant Professor, Harvard Business School
Shirley Lu is an assistant professor of business administration in the Accounting and Management Unit of Harvard Business School. She conducts research in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure, with a focus on topics related to climate change and gender diversity. Her research aims to evaluate a firm’s CSR performance, understand CSR measurements and ratings, and investigate institutional frameworks that facilitate CSR disclosures. Some of her works examine the accountability of emissions targets, the bonding mechanisms of green bonds, and the credibility of CSR disclosures and ESG scores.
