Adam Galinsky
Adam Galinsky

Professor, Columbia Business School

Adam Galinsky is a professor at the Columbia Business School. He has published more than 300 scientific articles on leadership, negotiations, decision-making, and ethics. He is author of the critically acclaimed book INSPIRE: The Universal Path for Leading Yourself and Others (HarperCollins, 2025), co-author of the best-selling book, Friend & Foe (Penguin Random House, 2015), and his Ted talk, How to Speak Up for Yourself, has over 7.5 million views. He has received numerous awards including the World’s 50 Best B-School Professors (Poets & Quants, 2012), the Career Trajectory Award (Society of Experimental Social Psychology, 2016), and two mentoring awards from Columbia University (2022) and the International Association of Conflict Management (2025). Professor Galinsky has served as damages expert in numerous defamation trials that have generated more than $1 Billion in verdicts and settlements for clients, including Dominion Voting systems v. Fox News. He is the Executive and Associate Producers on award-winning documentaries, including two short-listed for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards.
