Andrew Ferdowsian is an incoming lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School. He is a theorist, broadly interested in market design in applied scenarios. His work investigates transient matching in decentralized markets, where workers learn about their preferences through their experiences. His other work looks at public housing allocation and decentralized matching with aligned preferences. He graduated with his PhD in Economics from Princeton University in 2023 and his BS in Economics and Mathematics from Boston College in 2016.
