Kau Yi Ming
Venture Partner, Krux Asia
Yi Ming, an Angel School Fellow and Investment Committee Member, began angel investing in 2017, having personally invested in over 10 startups and helped deploy more than US$4M in capital. He previously managed Grab’s GrabRentals, making it one of Singapore’s largest rental fleets and raising over US$1Bn in funding. With 15 years of experience in tech innovation and startups, Yi Ming also founded marketing analytics and education startups and has worked in investment, military, and consulting. He’s the founder and Venture Partner of Krux Asia, a venture-building studio, and acts as a strategic advisor to TechStorm, Smobler Studios, and several other startups. He holds a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Cao Liang is a seasoned tech entrepreneur and founder of Qubit Dynamics, aiming to revolutionize the enterprise application market with AI and cloud native technologies. He previously worked at Microsoft, overseeing sales for large enterprises and governments, and developing strategic partnerships. Before that, he served as a Senior Account Manager at Schneider Electric, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit within a corporate context. Holding an MBA from the National University of Singapore and a bachelor’s degree from Zhe Jiang University, Cao combines deep tech knowledge with business expertise. His passion for coding and exploring new technologies is matched by his commitment to business excellence and strategic vision.

Lenard, Tan Wei Zhuang

Lenard has developed video analytics solutions that can operate in harsh and dynamic environments to help companies in industrial sectors enhance their operational safety, productivity, and security. Prior to starting Ailytics, Lenard was with Boeing’s Digital Analytics division, leading global teams of more than 100 people and building solutions that automatically optimize flight routes and rosters for airlines in various roles from engineering to consulting and project management. He strongly believes in working smart, playing hard culture, and appreciates any good memes. He holds an MBA degree from the National University of Singapore.

Jerrick Tee
Assistant Director, Startup & Ecosystem Development, Action Community for Entrepreneurship

Jerrick heads the International Ecosystem & Startup Development in Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE). Prior to his current role, he was the Program Head at NUS Enterprise, spearheading Deeptech & startup venture creation, ecosystem programmes (with over 15 cities, 300 startups), focusing on sustainability and societal impact, including UNDP, Citi Foundation, RaiSE, Hitachi, CapitaLand, Comfort Delgro and Wilhelmsen. He was also an entrepreneur, having co-founded Hearty Creatives, a nonprofit on a mission to build a sustainable eco-system for nonprofits and charity organisation in Singapore.
