Come hear from Clarence Koo, Partner at Oliver Wyman, talk about his experience and observations in starting and growing the Asia practice of a multinational consulting firm, going from one person in 1996 to today’s more than S$150 million practice with offices all across Asia – what went well, what did not, and lessons learned.
With Clarence’s specialization in the financial services (FS) sector, he will also share about the changes in the FS sector that he has seen and supported, and how he envisions technology will continue to change the FS landscape in the near future.

The JY Pillay Comparative Asia Research Centre (CARC) was set up in 2012 under the Global Asia Institute (NUS GAI) to pursue comparative research into key development issues facing Asia, in particular its three giants – India, China, and Indonesia. The Centre focuses specifically on cross-national comparative studies within Asia and is named in honour of Professor J.Y. Pillay, renowned Singaporean policy maker and corporate leader.
