As hosts of the second International Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship (ISSE), we invite you to join us for a day-long discussion on social entrepreneurship between academia and practitioners from leading organisations across Asia. To be held on April 22, 2016, the Symposium is a key platform for academic researchers, regulators, policymakers and industry players to share the latest research findings in the field of social entrepreneurship.

With the aim of growing the social entrepreneurship sector, this year's ISSE will focus on the usefulness of training programmes and solutions for incubating social enterprises.

The Symposium will consist of a plenary session on the "pioneer gap" challenge and its coping strategies. This gap refers to the problem faced by pioneering Small and Medium Social Enterprises - they are too big for incubation programs and too small for venture capital investments. The plenary session will be followed by a presentation of selected academic papers on the latest developments in the social entrepreneurship sector.

Registration is now closed.
