NUS China Business Centre

Launch Forum on Globalisation and Transformation
China Business Centre (CBC), newly established by NUS Business School, aims to promote a robust and sustainable China business model based on successful business practices and through advancing research. To commemorate the official launch of CBC on 24 September 2014, we are organising a launch forum themed "Globalisation and Transformation" and headlined by an eminent panel of business leaders from China and Singapore.

As China's economy experiences a structural shift, its companies are undergoing rigorous globalisation and transformation at an unprecedented pace. Old business models and concepts are rapidly getting outdated and new ones are being moulded. The world is facing an increasingly confident China while China needs to understand how to successfully globalise and transform its business overseas. Businesses from Singapore, encouraged by the government's global engagement efforts, have also ventured boldly overseas to take advantage of the opportunities offered by a flourishing Chinese market.

Focusing on both the perspectives of China and Singapore, the forum will touch on how companies from both sides can work together and strive for greater economic development of the two nations. Associate Professor Chong Juin Kuan, Department of Marketing, NUS Business School will moderate the Q & A session.
