CAMRI hosted the 4th NUS Asian MBA Stock Pitch Competition from March 6 – 8, 2013. As in past SPCs, the focus was on Asian-based firms with limited analyst coverage. However, for the first time ever, the US-listed stock, Apple Inc. (AAPL), was picked by the judges as the common stock assigned to all student teams to analyze.
The following 10 schools participated in the 4th NUS Asian MBA Stock Pitch Competition:
For the two preliminary rounds, the teams were divided into two groups with five teams in each group. Two teams from each group were selected to participate in the finals. The four finalists were:
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology emerged as the Champion. The team members were: Karan Singh, Janyawan Arayanimitskul and Christian Maentele.
National University of Singapore was the Runner-up. The team members were: Naveen K R, Alfred Emmanuel Awe and Dennis Chu.
