2018 AAM-CAMRI-CFA Institute Prize in Asset Management now open for submissions

Asia Asset Management (AAM), in collaboration with the Centre for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI) at NUS Business School in Singapore, launched the Annual AAM-CAMRI Prize in Asset Management in 2015 to celebrate excellence in regional applied research. In its second year as an Annual Prize partner, the CFA Institute will continue to join us in this year’s Prize as well. The Prize is worth US$15,000 and will be awarded to only one paper. Papers should be submitted by emailing to The closing date for submissions is Monday, July 30, 2018, and the winner will be notified by Friday, September 14, 2018.

Call for Papers: Third Workshop - Productivity, Corporate Governance and Risk Management in the “Digital Age”

The organising committee invites selected researchers to submit papers for presentation to the 3-4 September, 2018 Workshop in Singapore. The papers can be either theoretical or empirically based on firm level data. The extended abstracts or papers should be submitted electronically in PDF to (please indicate in the subject title PRN Workshop 3-4 September 2018) by 31 May 2018.

2017 AAM-CAMRI-CFA Institute Prize in Asset Management Winner

In celebration of excellence in regional applied research, Asia Asset Management (AAM) aligned with NUS Business School's Centre for Asset Management Research and Investments (CAMRI) and launched the Annual AAM-CAMRI Prize in Asset Management in 2015. This year, CFA Institute joined us as a partner in this Annual Prize. We are pleased to announce that the Winning Paper of the 2017 AAM-CAMRI-CFA Institute Prize in Asset Management (from close to 60 excellent applications from around the world) is entitled: Global Market Inefficiencies. The paper is co-authored by Söhnke M. Bartram (Warwick University) and Mark Grinblatt (University of California, Los Angeles)The 2017 Prize was awarded to Professor Bartram at the AAM-CAMRI-CFA Institute Prize dinner on November 15, 2017 at Mandarin Orchard Singapore. He also presented his research at the 2nd Pensions and ESG Forum on November 16, 2017.
