Valentino\u2019s research focuses on understanding how organizations can use cooperation and competition to create environments that bring out the best in their employees. Across three interrelated streams, he examines how individuals navigate inconsistent cooperation and competition, the distinct forms and effects of cooperation and competition, and the barriers that may thwart organizational attempts to cultivate desired levels of cooperation and competition.
