He has been a research scholar at Columbia University in New York City and a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Monash, he was on the faculty at the London School of Economics.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed received a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from King\u2019s College London and completed part of his doctoral training at the University of Cambridge. His main research interests are the macroeconomic consequences of firm-level accounting information and the valuation of equity.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed\u2019s research has been published in top-tier journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Monetary Economics, and Review of Accounting Studies. His research in macro-accounting has achieved the highest category of impact at Monash University and gained international recognition, including from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed serves as a reviewer for leading journals including The Accounting Review, Management Science, and Review of Accounting Studies, and has received multiple FARS Excellence in Reviewing Awards from the American Accounting Association.<\/p>\n"}],"event_agenda":null,"event_photo_gallery":null,"event_presentations":null,"event_custom_heading":null,"event_enquiry_details":{"event_enq_full_name":"Evelyn Choy","event_enq_department":"Department of Accounting","event_enq_email":"evelynchoy@nus.edu.sg","event_enq_telephone":"65167798","event_enq_website":""}}]
