He has more than 35 years of experience in auditing and advisory service in Hong Kong, New York, Sydney, London, Shanghai and Beijing.<\/p>\n<p>He was the lead audit partner for Industrial and Commercial Bank of China between 2021 and 2023 and was the audit partner responsible for Bank of China\u2019s IPO in Hong Kong and Shanghai between 2002 and 2006. During 2002-2008, he led the Bank Reform Roadmap for China project including the design and implementation work. He was seconded to Financial Services Authority in London in 2008-2009 where he was involved in analysing the root causes of Global Financial Crisis and ways to enhance global regulatory coordination. He is a prolific writer with many publications including two major books: Walking at the Forefront of Accounting Development and Bank Reform in China (2009) and The Road to Trust \u2013 Realising the Value of External Audit (2017).<\/p>\n<p>David is an adjunct professor at Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nanjing University and Xiamen National Accounting Institute.<\/p>\n"}],"event_agenda":null,"event_photo_gallery":null,"event_presentations":null,"event_custom_heading":null,"event_enquiry_details":{"event_enq_full_name":"Evelyn Choy","event_enq_department":"Department of Accounting","event_enq_email":"evelynchoy@nus.edu.sg","event_enq_telephone":"65167798","event_enq_website":""}}]
