The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Marketing.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background and good training in economics and quantitative marketing, and a great interest in developing reduced-form and structural empirical models, as well as designing and implementing field experiments in areas of platforms and sharing economy. The candidate should have a PhD degree in economics, marketing (quant track), operations management (empirical track), or other related fields and a good knowledge of computer programming. The candidate must have demonstrated excellent research skills and the ability to efficiently communicate and collaborate with others.
This is a full-time position from August 2020 to May 2022 with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will assist in 1) developing empirical models and conducting data analyses, 2) writing co-authored research papers for refereed journals, and 3) writing reports for funding agencies and collaborating companies. Salary is competitive, plus other benefits such as group medical insurance, computer workstations, conference presentations, etc. The project is to be conducted in close collaboration with companies in the transportation industry in Singapore. The candidate is to work under the supervision of Prof. Junhong Chu, and will work closely with other group members and colleagues in the marketing department, as well as the industry collaborators.
