Job Description

The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for the position of Dean, NUS Business School. The NUS Business School is one of the leading business schools worldwide, offering the best of global knowledge with deep Asian insights. The School offers a broad range of academic programmes, including BBA, MBA, Executive MBA, MSc and PhD programmes, as well as executive training programmes. The School has been ranked 7th globally in the 2017 Forbes rankings for two-year international MBA programmes, 18th in the 2018 Financial Times Global MBA Rankings, 18th in the 2017 EMBA Rankings, and 14th in customised programs in the 2017 Financial Times Executive Education Rankings.

NUS seeks to appoint an individual with outstanding academic and administrative leadership as Dean of the NUS Business School. The Dean will lead the School in all administrative and academic matters, including recruitment and faculty development, resource allocation, strategic planning, fundraising, and education initiatives to produce future-ready graduates. The Dean will also work with multiple stakeholders to formulate strategies for research and program development with a strong emphasis on innovation and enterprise, and organisational excellence.

The successful candidate will have the ability and leadership experience required to innovate and lead in a premier academic setting, and the ability to recruit, retain and, develop excellent and diverse faculty, staff and students. The candidate must also have a strong academic standing and exhibit a keen interest in developing strategic partnerships with alumni, business, and government.
