CFA Singapore- University Investment Research Competition
The CFA Singapore - University Investment Research Competition (UIRC) is held to promote the practice of professional investment research among university students in Singapore. The UIRC will showcase outstanding investment research reports conducted by full time undergraduate students of the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, SIM University and Singapore Management University. Judges consists of experts from the investment profession, major corporations and professors.
University Investment Research Competition (UIRC) 2008
- Teams comprising NUS undergraduate and MBA students (3 to 5 members per team) are eligible
- Preference given to those in the Business School Finance Specialization. Students should have read or are currently reading Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance and Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management

At least one student should have strong accounting background, understand consolidated statements and best if he or she knows the latest accounting standards

Application closing date: 3 September 2008, Wednesday (For BBA students)
8 September 2008, Monday (for MBA students)
Deadline for teams' submission: 17 September 2008, Wednesday ( 12 noon)
(3 hardcopies and 1 softcopy per team)
Oral presentation: 27 September 2008, Saturday, 10 AM (Conference Room B)

Final Round:
