The Centre has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group (MSWG) to develop the methodology for a Governance and Transparency Index in Malaysia. The MOU was signed during the launch of the Malaysian Corporate Governance Index 2009 on 9 June 2009 as part of the inaugural Corporate Governance Week 2009 organised by Bursa Malaysia and the Securities Commission.
