|Ms Verity THOI
Verity graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences and completed a Bachelor of Psychology Degree (Honours) at James Cook University. Prior to joining NUS Business School, she was cabin crew supervisor with British Airways (BA). She has held the position of Chairman of BA Cabin Crew Union. She also has experience as a journalist at People's Association.
Verity enjoys the challenges her current role entails and has taken on the responsibility as Chairman of Business School Social Committee. She enjoys interacting and socialising with people from all walks of life, organising events and embarking on new work experiences to widen her horizon.
|Ms Jamilah RAMLI
Management Assistant Officer
Jamilah has been with NUS since 2000. Prior to joining NUS, she worked in the banking sector dealing with customers at the front line. In addition, Jamilah spent seven years dealing with finance matters at an established hotel in Singapore. She loves going to the movies in her free time, and she enjoys cooking and baking.
|Ms HU Meibo
Meibo works with faculty members on research and industry-related projects. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Economics from National University of Singapore (NUS). It was there that she developed her data analytical skills and her passion for research, with a focus on corporate governance and public policies.
Previously, Meibo worked as an analyst for a derivatives exchange. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Major in Finance) from NUS.
Shiau Ping graduated from University of Science Malaysia, Malaysia with a Master in Business Administration (Sustainable Development). Before joining CGIO, she accumulated considerable research experiences in the manufacturing sector. LEE is passionate about business research that brings a positive change to society. At CGIO, she works with faculty members on projects related to corporate governance and corporate sustainability.
Ibrahim graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Accountancy) and he is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Singapore.. At CGIO, he works with faculty members on various applied research projects related to corporate governance and family businesses.
Prior to joining CGIO, while at university, he gained internship experiences in audit and individual income tax. His research-related interests include corporate governance, corporate finance, sustainability and family businesses, particularly in the Southeast Asian context.
Mai Huong graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom with a Master in Business Administrations (Distinction). She has a Bachelor degree in Psychology (majoring in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology) from Murdoch University, Australia. Before joining CGIO, she accumulated extensive work experience in the banking and finance sector. Her experiences as a bank officer have equipped her with project planning, analytical skills, bank operations and management reports.
At CGIO, Huong collaborates with faculty members on applied corporate governance research projects. Her research interests include corporate governance, social enterprises and organizational psychology. She enjoys painting, badminton and dragon boating in her free time.
