Students who start the double degree at NUS Business School shall complete the core modules of the NUS MBA and 2 elective courses linked to the HEC core modules, Human Resource Management and Supply chain Management. They will also participate in the Social Business Conference linked to the HEC core module, Sustainable Business Strategy.
They will proceed to do any of the five Specialized Tracks (Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Management of Innovation or Entrepreneurship) available in their first semester/Fall at HEC Paris and any of the 5 Professional Tracks (Entrepreneurship Project, Company Consulting Project, Individual Professional Project, Mission & Action Project or Creative Academic Project) in their second semester/Winter at HEC Paris.
Students starting the double degree at HEC Paris shall complete the core modules of the HEC MBA and complete the following core modules of The NUS MBA whilst at NUS before doing a specialisation:
- Asia Pacific Business
- Leadership in Organisations
- Managing Operations
Language courses (French) are a requirement for MBA students at HEC. Students can be exempted and earn the credits if they are deemed trilingual including French (determined by examination).

Modular Credits (MCs) and European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)
At HEC Paris, ECTS is a standardised means of computing and transferring credits across programmes. At NUS, 1 MC is equivalent to 1.5 ECTS.
Graduation Requirements for each Programme
- NUS MBA - 68 MCs
- HEC MBA - 120 ECTS or 80 MCs
Total Graduation Requirements for the Double Degree Programme
- 56 NUS MCs + 70 ECTS at HEC, or
- 56 NUS MCs + 47 NUS MCs = 103 MCs
We are looking for keen and creative-minded individuals who have a record of achievement and possess leadership and teamwork capabilities.
- Good Undergraduate Degree: Applicants must have a strong academic record in any undergraduate field from a reputable academic institution.
- Work Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of three years full-time post-graduation work experience. Special consideration will be given to applicants with 1st Class Honours or higher degrees and have work experience that may be less than the required two years.
- GMAT: Good Analytical Writing Assessment, Verbal, Quantitative and Total GMAT scores are required. The NUS GMAT codes are DRT-MK-35 for the Full Time MBA or DRT-MK-59 for the Part Time MBA. Visit mba.com for more information.
- TOEFL/IELTS: TOEFL Applicants whose undergraduate degree was not in English are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores. The TOEFL code for NUS is 9082 Department Code 02. The IELTS code for NUS is 0677. The IELTS code for NUS is 0677. Visit TOEFL or IELTS for more information.
- Interview: Short-listed applicants will be interviewed and may be required to take further evaluation tests.

The NUS-HEC Paris Double Degree MBA offers need and merit-based scholarships. The selection process varies according to your profile and the criteria specified by our corporate and individual funding partners. Submission through NUS:

Applicants applying for The NUS MBA Double Degree with HEC Paris have to apply on the online application forms of both NUS and HEC Paris at the same time. This is regardless of where they would like to commence the programme. Admittance into this double degree programme is conditional on the applicant getting an admission offer from both Schools.
NUS Fees: S$25,000
HEC Fees: 31,500 Euros
Total Fees: S$88,000 (approx. figure)
Acceptance Fee : S$5,000 (will be credited towards the payment of the tuition fees for applicants commencing in NUS)
