Application Procedures

Please read the instructions carefully before you commence the application process.
This website and application portal works best with Internet Explorer 6.0 and above and may not support other browsers.

1. Online application Form

• Only online applications will be accepted.

• When submitting your application online, you will be asked to enter a password. Your password is important and can be used, together with your application number, to access the following online facilities related to your application:
  • Online application status enquiry*
  • Online payment of acceptance fees (after you've received an offer)

• If you are interested in more than one MBA Programme, you will need to indicate your degree preference in the online application form.

 

* Please allow 4-6 weeks for postal delivery and verification of documents before checking your admission status.

Note:  Applicants applying for The NUS MBA Double Degree with HEC Paris have to apply on the online application forms of both NUS and HEC Paris at the same time.  This is regardless of where they would like to commence the programme. Admittance into this double degree programme is conditional on the applicant getting an admission offer from both schools. Application to HEC Paris is at www.mba.hec.edu

2. Supporting documents

Please note that you will need to send in the following documents to accompany your application.

• Official Transcripts & Attested Photocopied Degree Scroll
  We require official or certified true copies of your transcript and degree scroll endorsed by the issuing university for your application. You may wish to send marksheets attested by the university or by a notary public institution for this.

   

  To expedite the application process, you may wish to send us photocopies of your transcript/ marksheet/degree scrolls or upload scanned copies in the online application system while we wait for your official documents.

  We will only extend the formal letter of offer after receiving attested documents.

 

• GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS Scores: 
  The scores must be sent to the Business School directly by the organisers. You will need to request the organisers to send the official scores to us.

  To expedite your application, you may also scan your unofficial score report and upload it under Section B of the “Document” tab of the online application form while we wait for your official scores to be sent to us. 

 

• Resume
  Upload your updated resume containing your education background, work experiences, memberships in associations/ organizations, achievements, international experience, etc. 

  Please allow 4-6 weeks for postal delivery and verification of documents before checking your admission status.

 

• Financial Supporting Documents  

  The financial supporting documents allow us to understand how you will be financing for your programme fee and living expenses. You can use more than one financing option(s).

  The supporting documents required for the respective financing options are as follow:

 

Financing Options	Documents required
Self Sponsored	Bank account statements or latest income statement (endorsed by the company’s Finance or HR department) with indication of your salary being credited to your name
Company Sponsored	A Letter of Sponsorship by Company
Others	Documents that will support your financing option

If you are not able to provide the documents above, kindly provide a letter (with the rest of the supporting documents) stating your financing options and the reasons for not being able to provide the financial supporting documents.

 

• Photographs 
  We will require three colour passport-size photographs from successful applicants.

 

 3. Application Essays

Please note that you will need to fill up 4 essays in the online application system.

• All applicants of the NUS MBA Programme have to complete 4 essay questions via the online application system.
• The only exception is the NUS MBA with Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Double Degree MBA Programme which requires you to complete additional essay questions on top of the 4 questions

 

 

4. Referee reports

Two referee reports are required to complete your application. There are two ways to submit your referee reports:

 

• Online referee reports

 

• In the online registration form, you are required to provide information about your referees. This information is important as it allows us to contact your referees.
• We will send an email to your referees only when you have submitted your online application form. 
• The email will contain information on how to access and submit the online referee report.

 

• Hard copies of Referee reports

 

• Your referees can download the forms here.
• After completion of the form, your referee can send us the form via email using his/her account or mail it back to us in a sealed envelope with his/her business card and his/her signature over the seal of the envelope.   

 

Please allow 2-4 weeks for postal delivery and verification of documents before your referee report status is updated.
