This program is jointly offered by the NUS Business School and the Department of Real Estate of the School of Design & Environment. The curriculum draws from existing modules of both graduate programs. Students must be admitted to this specialisation during their initial application to the NUS MBA.
The requirements for an MBA with a Specialisation in Real Estate are:
22 MCs of Core MBA modules
16 MCs of Core Real Estate modules
10 MCs of electives in MBA
8 MCs of electives in Real Estate
1 Integrative Project (equivalent to 12 MCs)
The six core MBA modules are:
- Financial Accounting
- Financial Management
- Asia Pacific Business
- Corporate Strategy
- Marketing Management
- Statistics (2 MCs)
The four core real estate modules are:
- Real Estate Investment Analysis
- Economics of Real Estate Markets
- Corporate Real Estate Asset Management
- Real Estate Finance & Securitisation
Students are to complete any two electives from the following Real Estate modules:
- Real Estate Development
- International Real Estate
- Commercial Real Estate Appraisal
- Urban Policy & Real Estate Markets
